Dean Brennan & Ross Lafayette win August Manager & Player of the Month in the National League South

We are delighted to announce that Stones Manager Dean Brennan and top scorer Ross Lafayette have been awarded the National League South Manager and Player of the Month for August!

Wealdstone ended August with a 2-1 win at home against Maidstone United, confirming the seventh win from the eight August games in the division.

21 points from Brennan’s first eight games put Wealdstone five points clear at the top of the National League South.

Lafayette was massively involved in the Stones’ success during August, he picks up the division’s Player of the Month award after scoring six goals and assisting twice during the month.

The highlight of August for Lafayette was a game-winning perfect hat-trick against Weymouth on Bank Holiday Monday at the Bob Lucas Stadium, including an 89th minute winner in the 4-3 victory.
