As the season draws to a close, there’s still plenty to play for in the remainder of Wealdstone’s fixtures.
With just four games remaining, Neil Gibson’s side are yet to secure their position in the National League for the 2025/26 campaign, but a favourable weekend of results could quickly change the situation.
The Stones currently sit just one place above the drop zone, five points ahead of Dagenham & Redbridge in 21st place.
This Bank Holiday Weekend, the Stones face two season defining fixtures on Friday and Monday.
First up, Boston United, who go into Friday’s game with the form of a side desperate to be in the National League lineup next season.
The Pilgrims have amassed a remarkable 7 wins from their last nine games as they look to stay above the drop in their own bid for survival, having already drawn back a 12 point deficit to the edge of the relegation zone just over two months ago
A win for the Stones would see them leapfrog the hosts, who currently sit level on 50 points, but one place above with a favourable goal difference.
Last time out an early Alex Reid goal saw Wealdstone come away with a crucial three points in a nail biting affair, just two weeks ago.
For fans looking to be there and cheer on the boys, tickets are available HERE with Stones fans seated in the East Stand.
Monday’s fixture brings a similar challenge to Friday’s as Gibson’s side go up against Maidenhead United at Grosvenor Vale.
The visitors currently sit 22nd in the division, five points behind the Stones. Like Boston, they sit on a respectable run of form, having won their last two fixtures.
Your support will play a huge part in the remainder of the season! Tickets for Monday’s fixture are available HERE.
