Wealdstone FC are delighted to announce the signing of talented midfielder Dylan Kadji from National League South side Weston-super-Mare, on a 2 year contract.

The 21-year-old central midfielder arrives at Grosvenor Vale following an impressive 2024/25 campaign with Weston-super-Mare, where he made 43 appearances in the National League South, contributing 3 goals and 6 assists while establishing himself as a key player in their midfield.

Kadji brings a wealth of experience despite his young age, having progressed through Bristol City's highly regarded youth academy before signing his first professional contract in November 2021. During his time with the Championship club, he made four first-team appearances and scored on his debut against Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL Cup, finding the net just seven minutes into his maiden appearance.

The versatile midfielder has gained valuable experience through loan spells at several clubs across different levels of the football pyramid. His development path has taken him to Bath City in the National League South, spells in League Two with Swindon Town and Forest Green Rovers and National League outfit Aldershot Town, before his permanent move to Weston-super-Mare last summer.

Born on 1st September 2003, Kadji is a technically gifted central midfielder who possesses the versatility to operate in multiple positions, including centre-back when required. His ability to read the game and contribute both defensively and in attack makes him an ideal addition to the Stones' midfield options.

Standing out for his composure on the ball and excellent passing range, Kadji has demonstrated his ability to dictate tempo from deep positions while also showing the attacking instincts to contribute goals and assists. His experience across various levels of English football has equipped him with the tactical awareness and physical attributes needed to excel in the National League.

The midfielder's impressive tally of 6 assists last season highlights his creative abilities and vision to unlock opposition defences, while his 3 goals demonstrate his capability to contribute from midfield when opportunities arise.

Commenting on the signing, Wealdstone manager Sam Cox said: "We're thrilled to welcome Dylan to Wealdstone FC. His performances for Weston-super-Mare last season caught our attention and his background coming through Bristol City's academy system speaks to his quality and potential.

"Dylan is exactly the type of player we've been looking to add to our squad - young, hungry and with excellent technical ability. His versatility will be valuable to us and I'm confident he'll make a significant impact in the National League."
