The Wealdstone FC Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of its new Community Coordinator, Eric Negraru.
As part of the continued development of the community work that Wealdstone FC is committed to delivering, the Wealdstone FC Foundation has appointed Eric Negraru as its new Community Coordinator, who is not an unfamiliar face to the club.
Eric joined the Foundation at the start of July and brings with him experience in the foundation sector, particularly within sports-based community programmes, as well as a UCFB graduate where he studied Sports Business and Sports Law.
His previous roles include working with The Sports Effect as a researcher, running a project about football club foundations. As a local lad and ex-player, he understands the club well, looking to grow the Foundation, and increase the impact on the community.
Nick Symmons, Trustee of Wealdstone FC Foundation, said:
“We are pleased to welcome Eric to the Wealdstone FC Foundation. He brings great knowledge and ideas about the charity sector and will offer a diverse set of skills to strengthen and develop the existing team. His work ethic will help us grow and extend our reach within the community, aligned with the vision of both the Foundation and the Club.”
Danny Kindell, Wealdstone FC Board Member & Chair of Trustees at the Wealdstone FC Foundation, added:
“I’m really excited to welcome Eric to Wealdstone FC. His appointment is a fantastic step forward for the Foundation, and I’m excited about the energy and expertise he brings. Eric will be a great asset in helping us expand the Foundation’s impact and the breadth of our community engagement!"
Eager to get started, Eric said:
“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining the Wealdstone FC Foundation at such an exciting time for both the Club and the charity. The Foundation is already running some valuable initiatives that clearly make a difference in the local community. I’m looking forward to building on this work, collaborating with local organisations and stakeholders to harness the power of football and the Club to positively impact lives across Hillingdon and the surrounding areas.”
Welcome to Wealdstone FC, Eric!
