VOLUNTEERS: Your club needs you!

Volunteers have always been at the heart of Wealdstone Football Club's remarkable journey.

From battling back through the lower reaches of non-league football to establishing ourselves in the National League again and reaching Wembley Stadium for the first time in more than 40 years, none of it would have been possible without the dedication, passion and commitment of people willing to give their time to the club they love.

As we prepare for our seventh consecutive season in the National League, with exciting plans to grow both on and off the pitch, we're looking for new people to join the Wealdstone family and help shape the next chapter of our story.

Whether it's supporting the first team on matchdays, helping our Women's and Academy teams, contributing to community projects through the Wealdstone FC Foundation, or assisting with fundraising and club events, there are countless ways to make a difference.

The impact our volunteers make cannot be overstated. Last month, our volunteer Kit Man Brett Aherne received an FA Recognition Award at Wembley Stadium in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the club.

We are looking for people of all ages and backgrounds who want to get involved.

Opportunities include:

  • Matchday stewarding

  • Minibus driving

  • Car parking and ground operations

  • Supporting club events and barbecues

  • Stadium maintenance and improvement projects

  • Community and Foundation activities

  • Specialist roles for those with professional skills or experience

Most importantly, volunteering at Wealdstone is about more than helping out. It's about becoming part of a community, making lifelong friendships, creating memories and playing a genuine role in the future success of one of London's most historic football clubs.

In partnership with the Wealdstone FC Supporters Club (WFCSC), we are inviting anyone interested in volunteering to join us at Grosvenor Vale on Saturday 18 July at 12:30pm, ahead of our pre-season fixture against Hemel Hempstead Town.

This informal session will be an opportunity to meet club and Supporters Club representatives, learn more about what happens behind the scenes, discover where you could get involved and see first hand how volunteers help make Wealdstone tick.

If you've ever wanted to play a bigger part in your football club, now is the perfect time.

To register your interest, please email secretary@wealdstonefc.com with a few details about yourself, any areas you may be interested in helping with and what attracted you to volunteering at the Stones.
