Update to the Executive Board

Following the announcement that Jon Pettifer standing down from the Board earlier this week, the club would like to announce the following changes to the Executive Board as we move into the 2019/20 season.

Rory Fitzgerald has agreed to remain as Chairman and will continue to lead the club going forwards after initially appointed interim Chairman in January 2019.

“I’m delighted to take on the role on a more permanent basis which I believe provides more stability to the club following a year of significant change. I believe we have made good progress off the pitch in the last year and I look forward to working with my fellow Directors, Dean, his management team and everyone who gives so much to this club to ensure we continue to move forwards both on and off the pitch."

Rory has appointed Dominic Whyley as his Vice Chairman with Mark Randall remaining as a director representing the Wealdstone FC Supporters Club and leading supporter communications and fundraising activities. Dominic has been involved in the club for over 30 years and will remain responsible for leading the financial management of the club.

Joining the Board will be Andy Lavin who takes on the role of leading the club’s commercial activities. Andy has a wealth of contacts in the business world and was instrumental alongside Rory in the increased level of commercial revenue last season. The club welcomes Andy to the Board and we hope he has a successful and enjoyable time at the club.

The club is also delighted to say that Quentin Fox who was a Director of the club for 26 years has agreed to provide support to the current Board in a number of valuable areas and will attend Board meetings wherever possible.

Nick Symmons remains on the Board and continues to devote a huge amount of time and expertise in the day to day running of the club as well as leading our excellent program of community activities.

If you have any questions on the running of the club, feel free to speak to any of the Board on a matchday and we look forward to an exciting season ahead.
