TICKETS: Buy Now For Southend League Finale

WEALDSTONE FC is urging supporters planning on travelling to support Gary Waddock's side at Southend United this weekend to buy in advance to avoid disappointment.

The two clubs have agreed a reduced away fans allocation of just over 400, given the early kick-off time on Saturday, and with demand outstripping supply among United supporters given it's the host's last home fixture.

The Shrimpers and The Mighty, Mighty Stones will do battle in Enterprise National League action at Roots Hall - knowing they'll meet again three weekends later at Wembley Stadium in The Isuzu FA Trophy.

It's a strange way for Southend (already assured of a Play-Off place) and Wealdstone (set for a solid mid-table finish) to end their respective league campaigns, and who knows how much more each side will learn about the other during this, the third meeting of the teams already this campaign.

Take Four is set to provide the grandstand finish to the season on May 17 under the Wembley arch, but for now it's three final points up for grabs.

After midweek defeat at Hartlepool United, Kevin Maher's side will finish either sixth or seventh, taking on either Scunthorpe United or Boreham Wood in the Play-Offs. While the Stones can end the season anywhere between 11th and 15th place inclusive.
