STONES TRAVEL TO GRIMSBY TOWN IN FA CUP 2ND ROUND

We can confirm that following tonight’s Emirates FA Cup Second Round draw, made live on TNT Sports, Wealdstone will travel to League Two side Grimsby Town.

The Stones booked their place in the Second Round with a 1-0 victory over Southend United at The Vale on Saturday, thanks to a well taken goal from Olufela Olomola.

This tie sees the Stones face the Mariners for the second successive season, following last year’s memorable Emirates FA Cup First Round meeting, when Alex Reid struck a dramatic 90th-minute winner to send Wealdstone through.

The Second Round Proper is scheduled to take place around the weekend of Saturday 6 December, with full fixture, travel and ticket details to be announced in due course.
