STONES TO FACE CHARLTON ATHLETIC IN PRE-SEASON

Newly promoted Championship side Charlton Athletic will visit Grosvenor Vale for a pre-season friendly against the Stones on Wednesday, 23rd July, with an earlier-than-usual kick-off at 6.30pm at the request of the visitors.

Charlton, led by manager Nathan Jones, are preparing for life in England’s second tier after a thrilling promotion via the League One play-offs. The Addicks secured their Championship spot in style, triumphing in a memorable play-off final at Wembley.

The match promises a stern test for Wealdstone as Charlton are expected to bring a strong first-team squad, offering home fans an early glimpse at top-level opposition ahead of the new season.
