STATEMENT: VALE LEASE STILL NOT SIGNED

The Board of Directors of Wealdstone FC wishes to update supporters and shareholders regarding the proposed investment by Nick Semaca.

The planned completion of Nick’s investment, which would result in him acquiring a 50.1% shareholding in the club, has been delayed beyond the expected date of 31 October. This is due to ongoing delays in the signing of the club’s new lease agreement for Grosvenor Vale.

We fully understand the frustration and uncertainty that these delays cause. The club remains in regular, constructive dialogue with our landlord, KSIMC, who continue to indicate their intention to finalise and sign the new lease imminently.

Importantly, Nick Semaca remains fully committed to completing his investment in Wealdstone FC as soon as the lease is executed. His enthusiasm and belief in the club’s long term vision have not wavered. Nick is currently in the UK and ready to conclude his investment which will help unlock the potential of the club including the new stadium, as soon as the new lease for Grosvenor Vale has been signed.

The Board will provide a further update to shareholders and supporters as soon as there is material progress.
