STATEMENT from THE EXECUTIVE BOARD

Everyone at Wealdstone FC were shocked & appalled to hear about about the incident that occurred after the match at Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday, which left a young supporter hospitalised. Our thoughts are with him and his family and we wish him a speedy recovery.

It is deplorable that anyone should end up in hospital simply because they have attended a football match. The Wealdstone FC Board of Directors are providing its fullest support to our counterparts at H&W FC and other relevant authorities in establishing the exact circumstances surrounding the attack and, from there, any necessary actions required of us as a club. We’d invite anyone who saw the incident or with any information that might help to please come forward.
