SIGNED: Jaydn Mundle-Smith Returns

Wealdstone Football Club is thrilled to announce that Jaydn Mundle-Smith has rejoined the club on a permanent deal, subject to FA and National League clearance. 

The defender began his career in Fulham’s academy, where he captained their U23 side.

Following loan spells with Maidenhead Utd, Maidstone Utd, and a brief spell with Dulwich Hamlet, he signed for The Stones in 2021 and went on to make over 110 appearances across four seasons.

A standout 2023/24 campaign saw Jaydn pick up both the Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Season awards at The Vale.

Jaydn returns after spending a season without a club to focus on recovering from a long-term injury.  He has spent a full pre-season training with the squad and contributed as a trialist while The Stones won their last three friendlies without conceding a goal.

On the signing of Mundle-Smith, manager Gary Waddock said: “We’re really pleased to have Jaydn back with us. He knows the club extremely well, he’s had a strong pre-season and has shown that he’s ready to make an impact again.

“He’s a player we know we can trust and we’re delighted to have him back in the squad.”
