Wealdstone made it back-to-back pre-season wins after defeating MK Dons at Grosvenor Vale.
Junior Tiensia rifled home with ten minutes left of the first-half before Anthony Georgiou sealed the deal around the 60 minute mark.
Sam Cox opted for a similar lineup that defeated Northwood a week ago. Georgiou the only change, replacing Max Kretzschmar in the XI.
The Stones began the game strong. Jack Cook came close to opening the scoring just three minute in, his header forcing a quick save down to Conor Trueman’s left.
Dante Baptiste shone on the day, making a host of incredible diving saves to keep the visitors goalless. His first, in the sixth minute, stretching down to his left to deny a clear cut chance.
20 minutes later, the Stones keeper would make two more incredible reflex saves, in quick succession, to keep his side level.
36 minutes in, a spell of Stones pressure paid dividends. The ball fell kindly into the path of Tiensia, on his favoured left-foot, to smash home and give the Stones the lead.
An unbelievable reaction save from Dante Baptiste denied Callum Hendry, with the striker's powerful strike looking destined to nestle in the top corner.
Micah Obiero looked to be set through on goal just after the break before being dragged back by an MK Dons defender, right on the edge of the box. The referee opting against the red card, likely in the spirit of a pre-season friendly.
Georgiou came close to scoring directly from the resulting free-kick, five minutes before rifling home and doubling the Stones lead after a well worked move.
A professional performance from the Stones saw them come away with the win ahead of Wednesday nights game at home against Championship side Charlton Athletic, tickets available HERE.
