Wealdstone are back at The Vale in the National League South, they host strugglers Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday afternoon.

THE DETAILS

Wealdstone vs Dulwich Hamlet

National League South

Grosvenor Vale, HA4 6JQ

Saturday 7th March, 3:00pm kick-off

THE CONTEXT

Wealdstone still have a five-point lead at the National League South summit, although have not scored in their last two games. They responded well at Dartford after defeat to Chelmsford City and will look to convert a draw to a win on home soil.

Dulwich Hamlet are only above the relegation zone on goal difference and have not won in their last four games. Hamlet failed to score in three of those last four and have not picked up maximum points on their travels since New Year’s Day.

TEAM NEWS

Midfielder Kavan Cotter has agreed a loan move to Wingate & Finchley until the end of the season after recovering from injury. Connor Smith still needs to serve two games on the sidelines after receiving a three-game ban for his red card against Dorking Wanderers.

WHO TO WATCH FOR

Danny Mills: Experienced centre-forward Mills is the Hamlet’s top scorer this season with 13 league goals. Despite Hamlet’s lack of goals in recent weeks, Mills has netted five goals in the last seven games and the away side will look to him to provide goals on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT

Wealdstone suffered their first defeat of the season at Champion Hill back in August, Richard Orlu’s first half header proving too much for the Stones. Dennon Lewis made an impact as a second half substitute however, it was not Wealdstone’s night as chances missed the mark.
