Wealdstone FC announce pre-season friendly with Colchester United

Wealdstone FC are delighted to announce another pre-season friendly ahead of the 2019/20 season, the Stones will face the first team of League Two side Colchester United on Tuesday 16th July.
The last time the Stones met the U's was in November 2015 for an FA Cup First Round tie at Grosvenor Vale which Colchester United won 6-2 in-front of the BBC cameras and over 2,400 people in attendance.
Our July fixture will also be at Grosvenor Vale and kick-off will be at 7:30pm.

Entry can also be gained on the day of the game at the turnstiles for the same price, however, please note that it is CASH ONLY at the turnstiles.
Getting to Grosvenor Vale:
The postcode for the ground is HA4 6JQ if you are driving. Free parking will also be provided at the ground however, please be aware that you car will be on grass. There will also be free parking at Ruislip Manor tube station after 6:30pm; the station is a 5-minute walk from the ground.
You can also get to The Vale by the various public transport links nearby. The Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines serve at both Ruislip station and Ruislip Manor station (for Colchester United fans travelling into London Liverpool Street station, both Ruislip & Ruislip Manor stations operate on the same Uxbridge route of the Metropolitan line).
The Central line from London Liverpool Street station also operates at Ruislip Gardens station via the West Ruislip route. Alighting at Ruislip Gardens station will be a 12 to 15-minute walk to Grosvenor Vale; the E7 bus to Ruislip is also available from Ruislip Gardens station, you will need to alight at Grosvenor Vale bus stop.
