NEW SIGNING | Exciting Adarkwa signs for Stones

Wealdstone are delighted to announce the signing of former West Ham United and Queen's Park Rangers forward Sean Adarkwa on a one-year deal subject to international clearance.

The 22-year-old has spent the summer trialling with the Stones and his eye-catching performances have warranted a permanent deal at Grosvenor Vale.

Adarkwa’s most notable pre-season performance saw him score two late well-taken goals in the Stones 4-2 win away at Farnborough to win us the match.

The forward’s youth career saw him feature 62 times for West Ham U21’s and U18’s before making the move to QPR in 2021.

After a brief loan spell to then National League side Maidstone United last season, the striker made the move to Scottish Championship side Arbroath where he featured nine times, scoring twice for the Red Litchties.

If international clearance is passed in time, Adarkwa will be available for selection for our National League season opener at home against York City at 3pm on Saturday.

Sean will wear the number 27 shirt this season.
