THE CONTEXT
Wealdstone look to make it back-to-back wins following a famous success over Oldham in midweek at Boundary Park. The Stones take on a Halifax side that are yet to register a goal and therefore a win. Chris Millington took over from Barrow-bound manager Pete Wild in the summer, and it was all-change on the player front at the Shay as well, with several departing West Yorkshire, including top scorer Billy Waters, who joined his manager in Cumbria. Several Stockport title winners such as Sam Minihan and Jordan Keane joined the Shaymen in the summer.
WHAT THEY'VE SAID...
Wealdstone No. 2 Matt Saunders: “I watched the Torquay game, and they were very unlucky to lose. It’s going to be a really tough game. They’re a good team with a good manager who knows the group very well. We’ve just got to approach it the way we have, dominate possession and try to win the game.”
FC Halifax boss Chris Millington: "I'm looking forward to it, they're always good games against Wealdstone, they've been good interesting games over the last couple of seasons. They try and play a brand of football that's good to watch and good to coach and manage against, so I anticipate it will be an enjoyable game for the fans."
ONE TO WATCH
Towering centre-half Jesse Debrah has been linked with Huddersfield Town after an impressive debut season at the Shay. The 22-year-old Millwall graduate joined last summer following two seasons at Dulwich Hamlet and could still join the Terriers before the window shuts.
