MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

As we approach the festive period, we would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for your continued passion, loyalty and support for Wealdstone Football Club.

This season has already given us much to be proud of. On the pitch, the team and management, led superbly by Sam Cox, have delivered strong and consistent performances and we go into the Christmas fixtures sitting 10th in the National League, 3 points from the play off places. That position reflects the hard work, belief and unity running throughout the squad and staff.

We are also immensely proud to have reached the FA Cup Second Round for consecutive seasons for the first time in our history, a remarkable achievement and one that speaks volumes about the progress being made at the club.

Off the pitch, important work continues. We remain fully committed to securing the new lease at Grosvenor Vale and are working constructively with our landlords to meet the National League’s security of tenure requirements. This remains a key priority and underpins everything we are building.

In that context, we are excited to reaffirm the positive news shared earlier this year: once the lease is secured, Nick Semaca will become our majority shareholder. This will mark the beginning of a truly transformative era for Wealdstone FC, providing stability, ambition and the platform to grow sustainably.

Looking further ahead, our long-held ambition for a new stadium at Freezeland Way in Hillingdon remains a key priority. Significant progress is expected during 2026 as we continue the work required to bring this vision to life for future generations of Stones supporters.

At the heart of everything we do is our community. Once again, more than 1,300 of you have committed as season ticket holders, a testament to the strength of support for this club. Our academy continues to grow, the introduction of a women’s team marks another important milestone and our strong relationship with Wealdstone Youth FC reinforces our commitment to football at every level.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our sponsors and partners for their vital support throughout the year, in particular Brunel University, our main sponsor, whose continued backing plays a crucial role in the ongoing success and development of the club.

Wealdstone FC is a club built on togetherness - players, staff, volunteers, supporters and partners - all pulling in the same direction to achieve our shared hopes and dreams.
