MEET THE PLAYERS: Say Hello To The Wembley-Bound Boys at The Vale

YOUNG Wealdstone supporters - and older fans who are young at heart (!) - are warmly invited to get down to The Vale on Saturday May 9 for photos, autographs and a chat with Wealdstone FC's Wembley-bound first-team squad.

The 'Meet & Greet' session will take place between 3.30pm and 5.00pm, after the Stones' players & staff have finished training commitments elsewhere.

If the weather is kind, the event may well run outdoors, although indoor options are available if so required. Hopefully we can get some snaps in the sunshine!

On the day, the club will be open between 10.00am and 6.00pm for merchandise sales & order collections, while the bar will be open from 2.00pm to 6.00pm.

It's a chance for Junior Stones especially to spend a bit of time with the boys before their date with destiny under the Wembley arch the following weekend.

And a perfect chance to buy an item of merch and get it signed by a favourite player - or maybe even the whole squad!

Details of any further activities for kids on the day will be published in the lead-up to the day.

...And Then Into The Evening...

MAKE a day of it at The Vale by staying on for evening entertainment.

Later on Saturday May 9, 'The Soul Man' is in town to entertain Stones' supporters, courtesy of a gig arranged by Wealdstone FC Supporters Club.

It's a fun Disco night of Motown & Soul Classics, with tickets priced at just £12.50 in advance (£15 on the night).

Function Room doors open at 8.15pm for this one, with the bar open beforehand for pre-show refreshments.
