We can confirm that Kallum Cesay has departed the club following a move to League Two side Salford City FC on a two-year deal, for an undisclosed fee.
Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate Kallum joined the Stones in February 2024, making 49 appearances and scoring seven goals. His impact was instant, playing a vital role in keeping the Stones in the National League for the 2023/24 season.
That foundation gave Kallum a strong platform to build upon going into the 2024/25 season, with his high energy and technical ability making him a fans favourite at The Vale.
The versatile midfielder shone on the brightest stages for the Stones. His dominant performance away at Grimsby Town lives long in the memory, setting up Alex Reid’s last-minute winner to put us into the Second Round of the Emirates FA Cup for the first time in over 40 years.
He would then go on to earn man of the match against League One leaders at the time, Wycombe Wanderers, in the second round, broadcast live on ITV on a record-breaking day at The Vale.
Kallum capped a fantastic year for the Stones by scoring the second goal in the 3-1 win against Halifax Town on the final day of the campaign, to dramatically keep the club in the National League for the sixth consecutive season.
We thank Kallum for all his efforts at Wealdstone and wish him every success on his journey in the Football League.
