"FANS FIFTY" Budget Booster launched

As part of Stuart and Matt extending their time at the club, the Board has committed to an increase in the playing budget next season.

As one of the original fans owned and funded clubs, supporter fundraising has always played a huge role in giving our management team the best chance of competing as we’ve risen through the divisions.

Now, as we prepare for our third season in the National League following promotion in 2020, we want to do all we can to give Stuart and Matt as competitve a budget as possible in what will be a hugely challenging division again next season.

Alongside other initiatives, we're asking supporters to help add £1,000 a week to the playing budget by launching a Fans Fifty Budget Booster where every penny raised will go directly to the playing budget to deliver the best product we can on the pitch.

There are three main strands to this campaign:

Membership: Become a Member and benefit from a discounted season ticket, receiving shares in the club and other benefits.

StoneShare: A hugely successful scheme over the past 2 seasons where supporters buy shares by paying a lump sum or paying over a number of instalments. This scheme helps to fund the overall playing budget or to help secure specific new signing opportunities.

Unique Experiences: We are making a number of unique Wealdstone related experiences available to buy or to be bid on via auction throughout the course of the new season to generate funds for the playing budget.

Membership is already available online HERE or via email to memberships@wealdstonefc.com - we’ll be sharing more details about the other scheme elements in the coming weeks.

Pre-season is a critical and exciting time as the management team seek to retain players and add more quality to this season’s squad. Play your part, own a part of the Mighty Mighty Stones and show the footballing world once again that we’re a special club with a special fan base.
