Your match day guide to Wealdstone vs Scunthorpe United

Updated: Nov 27, 2022

With no Premier League and Championship games on over the weekend, we are expecting many football fans to Grosvenor Vale stadium for today's Vanarama National League match with Scunthorpe United for who it will be a first visit to the ground.

Turnstiles will open at 1.45pm and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the kick off. There will be a minute's applause before kick-off for Francis Joseph, the former Wealdstone player and Academy coach who sadly passed away recently.

The Vale social club within Grosvenor Vale will be open to both Wealdstone and Scunthorpe supporters, all of whom are invited to sample some of the beverages on sale. The bar will open from 12 showing the World Cup on the big screens.

Look out for some special World Cup promotional offers, including early bird pricing on Saturday from 12pm to 2pm where it will be £1 off all draught pints and all day on Saturday it will be 3 bottles of larger for £10.

The Vale will be open post-match for Wealdstone fans only and the man-of-the-match award will be presented around 5pm, with the World Cup matches continuing on the big screen into the evening.

A full food menu, provided by our award-winning match day caterers Dd's Diner, is available to both home and away supporters and a wide range of options are offered.

Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles for both Wealdstone and Scunthorpe fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted. However, we encourage all fans to purchase online in advance to minimise queuing time at the turnstile.

The award-winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale and at various points outside the stadium.

The club shop will also be open where you can help wrap up warm with a hat & scarf combo for £25.

Parking is street only or at various public car parks nearby. We encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport.

We sincerely hope that both sets of fans enjoy the game!
