Update on Luke Dreher injury

Wealdstone midfielder Luke Dreher suffered a double displaced fracture of his radius and ulna in his left arm during our pre-season friendly at home to AFC Wimbledon last Saturday.

Luke had to undergo surgery the following day with metal plates fitted and we expect him to be out for eight to ten weeks whilst he recovers.

Naturally everybody at the club are gutted for Luke, who had signed for the club on the day of the Wimbledon game after a string of impressive performances over pre-season as a trialist.

He will continue with a conditioning program to maintain fitness whilst his injury heals and we look forward to seeing him back in a Stones shirt soon, once fully recovered.
