Stones secure the signing of Kallum Cesay

Wealdstone Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Sierra Leone international Kallum Cesay on a permanent deal.

Kallum Cesay, whose versatility allows him to excel in both defensive and midfield roles, arrives at Wealdstone FC following a noteworthy period at Tottenham Hotspur FC. Cesay's talent and hard work saw him rise through the ranks at Tottenham's prestigious academy, appearing consistently in Premier League 2 with 45 appearances across 3 seasons. He also made 5 appearances in the EFL Trophy, a competition that saw Spurs most talented young players in competitive games against sides in League One and League Two.

Cesay's career took a significant leap forward in 2022 when he made his senior international debut for Sierra Leone, quickly becoming an important player for his national side. With 4 caps and 2 goals to his name since his debut, Cesay has demonstrated his prowess on the international stage, highlighting his ability to perform at a high level and under pressure.

While at Tottenham Hotspur, Cesay's adaptability was one of his standout attributes, enabling him to contribute significantly in various positions on the pitch. His stint at the Premier League club, combined with his international experience, speaks volumes of his quality and the depth he will bring to the Stones.

Expressing his enthusiasm about the new challenge, Cesay said, "Joining Wealdstone FC is an exciting step in my career with the chance to consistently play senior football. I'm looking forward to contributing to the team's ambitions and continuing to grow as a player. Representing Sierra Leone on the international stage has been a huge honour, and I aim to bring that experience and mindset to Wealdstone. I'm grateful for the opportunity and eager to get started."

Kallum will wear squad number 21. He is not eligible for our FA Trophy 5th round tie v Hendon but will be available for selection for our National League fixture at Woking this Saturday.
