The Club are delighted to announce that Jake Sheppard has extended his contract for next season, joining three other players that have committed to the 2019/20 season for the Stones this week.
Jake joined the club from the Reading FC after having played for Scotland at youth level and had a great year with an outstanding finish to help the team secure their place in the play-offs! His quick, attacking style and versatility have proven to be an extremely valuable asset for the team and he is a very welcome signing for 2019/20.
The Club has also exercised an option to extend Connor Stevens' contract for a further season. Connor joined the club from Watford last Summer, was voted Players Player of the Year last season and has recently been selected to play for England C against Estonia Under 23’s in Tallinn in June.
Connor has attracted a lot of interest from clubs at a higher level since joining Wealdstone and if an opportunity arises for Connor to progress his career which works for both the player and the club, then there is clearly a possibility that Connor moves on at some stage.
