Charles called-up by Grenada

Wealdstone midfielder Ashley Charles was once again called up to the Grenada squad this month, in their CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifier against Guyana in the USA.

The match took place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with the match finishing 1-1, although Guyana won 5-3 on penalties and Charles was made to wait for his fourth cap after not playing.

It's a new era for the Spice Boys since with former Wolves boss Terry Connor taking charge of the side, assisted by former Watford striker Gifton Noel-Williams.

Following his call-up, the Stones midfielder will join-up with the rest of his Wealdstone teammates as we return to begin pre-season training later this week.
