Ross Lafayette returns to Wealdstone FC!

Wealdstone Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Ross Lafayette from Billericay Town.

The 33-year-old centre forward returns to Grosvenor Vale after making a handful of appearances back in 2009.

Since then, Lafayette has been making a name for himself in the National League and the National League South, having stints at Welling United, Eastleigh, Aldershot Town, Dover Athletic, Sutton United and a loan spell at Maidstone United last season.

The striker also gained experience in the Football League with Luton Town during the 2014/15 season and Lafayette went on loan spells at Woking and Welling United during his tenure with the Hatters.

Dean Brennan on his eighth signing of the summer: "We are delighted that Ross [Lafayette] has decided to join us at the Stones, he is a leader and will bring our team good experience. Ross always puts his body on the line for the team and he will bring our front line physical and technical qualities.

"He is a player we know well and his personality will be infectious around our club."
