NATHAN HARNESS SIGNS FROM MK DONS

Stones are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Nathan Harness from MK Dons on an initial one-month loan deal. The highly rated shot-stopper will join the Stones’ ranks wearing squad number 30.

The 24-year-old began his footballing journey in the youth setup at Charlton Athletic before securing a move to MK Dons, where he has continued to develop into a promising talent. He made his League Two debut in February 2024 v Bradford City and has also appeared in the EFL Trophy. Last season Nathan gained valuable experience on loan at National League side Gateshead, playing a key role in their push for the play offs.

During his time with Gateshead, Nathan showcased his ability to perform under pressure, earning plaudits for a string of strong performances that contributed to the team’s solid defensive record. He also picked up an FA Trophy winners medal as part of the Gateshead squad that beat Solihull Moors at Wembley Stadium. His spell in the National League has provided him with crucial experience that will serve him well as he joins the Stones.

Wealdstone manager Matt Taylor said:" Due to Sam Howe's injury we needed to strengthen in the goal keeping department and Nathan is a player who understands the level, with great attributes to his game."

Nathan is available for selection for our National League fixture at home to Rochdale tomorrow.
