Jay Williams signs for the Stones!

Wealdstone FC are delighted to announce the signing of teenage defender Jay Williams.

The 19-year-old is a graduate of the Northampton Town academy and made 16 senior appearances, ending his time with the Cobblers in the summer after seven years at the club.

Williams was named under Trialist O and has made five appearances since his debut against Dartford, scoring his first goal for the club against Hayes & Yeading.

The defender has been deployed as a centre-half and a right full-back during pre-season and Williams spent a portion of last season on loan at National League North side Kettering Town.

We can also confirm that Jake Sheppard has departed the club and signed for Hayes & Yeading.
