Wealdstone Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Jacob Cook from Evo-Stik Southern Premier League side Kings Langley.

The 20-year-old is a defensive midfielder and is Dean Brennan's fifth signing of the summer so far.

Cook will be familiar with multiple members of Dean Brennan's squad already. The midfielder played alongside Connor Stevens in Watford's Under-18s title-winning side before leaving the Hornets in 2016.

The former Lango midfielder also played alongside Kavan Cotter and Connor Smith during their brief loan spells at Kings Langley last season and will be very familiar with his potential midfield partners.

Dean Brennan on his latest signing: "Jacob [Cook] has a very mature footballing brain for his age. He is a player that will make defensive sacrifices for our team, has fantastic vision and has an excellent range of passing skill."
