ELLIOT THORPE SIGNS FOR THE STONES

We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Elliot Thorpe on a permanent deal!

The 23 year-old midfielder spent his youth career in Tottenham Hotspurs' academy before moving to Luton Town in 2021. He made his first team debut in the FA Cup, getting an assist against Cambridge United, before featuring four more times for the Hatters.

During his time with Rob Edward's side, he had two loan spells, at both Burton Albion and Shrewsbury Town. Thorpe has also featured frequently at youth level for Wales, most recently playing for Wales U21s against Netherlands U21s in June 2022.

Elliot takes the no.26 and goes straight into today's matchday squad to face Forest Green Rovers.
