The weekly round-up of news….
The NLYA U19s were in League Cup action last week when they traveled to Chippenham Town on Wednesday afternoon where they put in an excellent performance to beat the hosts 4-2 to progress to the next round.
The Youth team game versus Staines Town scheduled for Wednesday evening was postponed as the pitch at The Vale was waterlogged. The league fixture this week at home to Hendon (Wednesday) is now also off as our visitors have a County Cup-Semi Final game at Hampton & Richmond Borough.
The Ladies game at The Vale today versus AFC Phoenix Reserves was postponed due to the pitch being waterlogged.
Correction: The February Monthly Club Newsletter shows the first team as playing Hungerford Town on 24 February at home (when we all know that it is an away fixture!) , however as a result of our progress yesterday in the Buildbase FA Trophy the game will now be rearranged to a later date.
