Sunday’s Club Meeting
The meeting held at Ruislip Social Club on Sunday was well supported with around 70 attendees.
Chairman for the meeting, Club President Paul Rumens apologised for the short notice but it had been felt necessary to call the meeting to update supporters on the latest very positive developments in respect of proposed senior board changes.
It was fully explained that due to important league regulatory reasons it was not possible to announce names but supporters were updated on very exciting plans, future strategy and investment that will provide for some extremely positive developments at Wealdstone that will be key elements in driving the club forward.
It is expected that a formal announcement on these senior changes will be made after the next meeting of the leagues management board on 20th July.
The on-going and key importance of finances was set out to those present and all fans are strongly encouraged to support the 100:400 fundraising scheme. Taking out season tickets was also very important to aid summer planning; new Commercial Manager Kevin Tye introduced himself to the meeting and explained his sales plans.
