Reserves start their SPL campagin

The Reserves kick-off their new Suburban Premier League season with an away game at newly promoted Corinthian Casuals FC. New management duo Phil Ralston and Jon Moran have had the lads working hard in the pre-season and a useful number of additions to the squad will see competition for places being keenly contested. It is good to see Callum Martin (Carl's brother) back in the grove and finding the net in pre-season.

There should be considerably more coverage and news of the Reserves progress this season thanks in the main to their secretary Lesley Jones, perhaps if the journey to some of the more distant away First XI games are not too appealing why not pop down to The Vale and watch the Reserves in action
