The weekly round of news and events…

The Ladies started their 2017/18 campaign earlier this afternoon with a 2-1 win versus Comets at The Vale in the GLWFL Div 2 South .

Website
Last month the website received over 24,000 unique visitors with the most read article being the news of Gordon Bartlett stepping down as first team manger (Mon 21 Aug) with over 6,300 views in a 36 hour period. Some 2,600 folk ‘clicked’ through via the official Twitter feed to read this news.

The  website recorded some 9,183 visits on the Tuesday(22 Aug)  (the most ever in its current guise) with the GB news and the appointment of Bobby Wilkinson leading the way in terms of pages viewed.  On the Wednesday  (23 Aug) the website logged just 4,797 visits in the 24 hour period,  come Thursday (24 Aug) we were back to a steady state of 2,500 visits per day.

Season Tickets
With record Season Ticket sales  recorded I have been asked by a number of fans if we could share some information as to  the geographical location of the those who have ‘signed-up ‘  for the 2017/18 campaign.

Having trawled through the available data (and excluded those issued to the League, plus those to our various sponsors) I have been able to produce the following tables based on  ‘475’ sales:-

Sales by County
 Middlesex  345
 Hertfordshire  42
 London 20
Buckinghamshire  17
Bedfordshire 8
Berkshire 8
Others 35
Total 475

The ‘Middlesex’ numbers have been further refined as follows:

 Middlesex Breakdown
 Ruislip 192
 Harrow 65
 Pinner/Northwood  30
 Northolt  15
 Uxbridge 15
 Stanmore  10
 Other  18
Total 345

There are still around a further 19 ST sales (primarily U18s) where the info is still be validated and logged on to the club contacts database.  The success of ST sales campaign has seen our first 4 home gate numbers average increase by some 20% compared to last season with our last three homes games attracting over ‘900’ to each game.
