Poole Town – The Vale – Sat 3 Sep
Our visitors were promoted last season from the Evo-Stick Southern Premier League and have made aa good start to life in the National League South picking up 16 points from their first 7 games played having won 5 (1-0 versus Maidenhead Utd, 1-0 verses Bishop’s Stortford, 1-0 versus Margate , 1-0 versus Bath City at home & 4-2 away to Hemel Hempstead), drawn 1 (0-0 at Weston -super-Mare) and lost 1 (0-4 at Ebbsfleet Utd).
The Stones management team and squad will also be looking to build on their good start to the season so we can expect to see a interesting game between two sides who are likely to play quite different styles of play come Saturday.
Saturday is also Non-League day, launched in 2010 it coincides with an international break and provides Non-League Day clubs a platform to promote the importance of affordable volunteer led community football while giving fans across the country the chance to show support for their local non-league side on a day when there are no Premiership or EFL Championship games.
Accordingly, the club have set a very attractive Match day Admission charge for this game with Adults at £5, Under 18s – £3 and Under 16s FREE in an effort to provide all local football fans an opportunity to watch a game this weekend.
Please note, pay on the day entry to the ground is through turnstile’s 1 to 3, turnstile 4 is for Season Ticket holders and other official passes (players, scout, complementary etc.) No entry to the stadium will be allowed through the metal gates except for suitably badged individuals so please allow plenty of time to get into the ground prior to kick-off.
FREE parking on the adjacent grass area to the stadium will be in operation, please follow directions from the match-day stewards. Alternatively you can park in the side streets near to the ground or use one of the pay & display car parks which are within 10–12 minutes walk of the stadium (see map HERE for assistance). You have been warned!
