walking-footballCongratulations to the Wealdstone Wanderers Men’s walking football team who were the winners of the Graham Barnes Memorial Cup at Uxbridge Amblers Walking Football Festival held at Hillingdon Sports & Leisure complex, yesterday.
The team didn’t concede a goal and won three penalty shot-outs to be victorious against teams from across the south of England and Holland.

More to follow next week once the squad have recovered.

Wealdstone host three Walking  Football sessions during the week. In Hayes at Botwell on Thursday lunch times, Northwood (St Helen’s School) 8.45pm on Thursday and  at Harefield Academy on Tuesday at 8pm. Open to all (male & female) over 50’s.

Make sure you take advantage of the Early Bird prices and nab a Season Ticket for our 2016/17 Vanarama National League South campaign. Based on the adult match day charge of £13 the EB ST deal equates to just £9.48 a game. The Concession match day charge is £8 and the EB ST deal equates to £5.95 per game. Launched at our home Vanarama National League South fixture versus Basingstoke Town game this excellent publication by Pete Worby and Mick Fishman was nearly 10 years in the making and is probably the most “complete” history of Wealdstone FC that there has ever been.
