Yesterday we welcomed our ‘Boys of 66’ back to the club for a Golden Celebratory Luncheon in recognition of their massive achievement in lifting the FA Amateur Cup 50 years ago to the day. It was a fabulous event for all and something a lot of us will not forget for a very long time………

FA Amateur Cup Winners Luncheon
A cracking day at ‘The Vale’ started around just before noon when footballers from a different era gathered along with fans for a celebratory luncheon in the main hall.  The ‘boys of 66’ really put the club on the map and set the bar in terms of what collective team-work and effort can be lead to in terms of achievement.

The 1966 Stand
At yesterday’s game the club unveiled ‘The 1966 Stand’ the new name for the seating area adjacent to the RSC in honour of the   players & coaching staff in winning the FA Amateur Cup in the 1965/66 season. 

Bobby Moore Bowel Cancer Bucket Collection
A big thank you to all who contributed via the bucket collection at yesterday’s game, a Cheque for £143.25 will be on its way shortly to the Bobby Moore foundation. 

Non-League Challenge

Presentation Evening
The end of Season Presentation evening will be held at the RSC on Saturday 23 April from 6.30pm following our last Vanarama National League South home game of the season versus St. Albans City.
There will also be a Q&A session with manager Gordon Bartlett and entry is FREE to this event.
The evening is being arranged by the WFC Supporters Club

Away Travel – Truro City
Due to the lack of bookings, there will now no longer be a Supporters Club coach to the final National League South of the season at Truro City on Saturday, 30 April 2016.

However, there will be space for supporters to travel on the Wealdstone FC Team Coach. At present a 51-seater coach has been booked & there is approximately 5 seats available for supporters. However if there is more demand for seats, we are able to move from a 51-seater to a 61-seater coach allowing an additional 10 supporters to travel. Therefore it is FIRST COME FIRST SERVED!

The coach which will have a toilet en-board will depart from The Vale at 7.00 am and will depart from Truro City’s ground at approximately 6.00 pm. The match kicks 0ff at 3.00 pm. Costs Adults: £ 20.00 Concessions: £ 15.00 Concessions – OAP’s (65 and above) Children (16 and under) & Students. WFC Ryman Youth Team – Recruitment for 2016/17 season
We are holding trials for the 2016-2017 Under 18 Ryman League team on Saturday 21st May 2016 and Sunday 22nd May 2016 from 10:00am till 14:00 at The Vale. Prompt arrival is essential to ensure a smoothly run day.
