Eastbourne Boro – The Vale – Sat 15 Aug
We welcome Eastbourne Borough to The Vale for a Vanarama National League South match this Saturday (15 Aug) kick-off 3.00pm. This will be our third league fixture in a week as the games come thick and fast in the opening month.
Stones will be looking to get some points on the board following defeats at Bath City last Saturday and Concord Rangers at The Vale on Monday night. Our visitors, ‘The Sports’, have suffered a similar start to their 15/16 campaign going down at home to Maidenhead United by 2 goals to 1 on the opening day of the season and another defeat on Tuesday night 1-0 away at Dartford.
Manager Gordon Bartlett and his coaching staff will be looking to get the squad prepared to do battle against Tommy Widdrington’s team and another interesting encounter awaits. Make sure you are there to get behind the lads and cheer them on.
The Rollin Kitchen will be on hand turning out burgers/hot dogs etc from around 13:00, the RSC will be open as usual for a pre-match drink and the Tea Bar in the ground will open serving the usual hot drinks and snacks.
Match day Admission is £12 Adults, £7 Concessions and £2 for under 16’s. The Club are pleased to announce that the Pro-club Season Ticket match-day deal will be in operation again this season where entry can be gained to The Vale on production of said valid ticket for 15/16 at just £6. FREE Parking on the adjacent playing field will be in operation. There are no planned engineering works on the tube this weekend
Please note, pay on the day entry to the ground is through turnstile’s 1 to 3, turnstile 4 is for Season Ticket holders and other official passes (players, scout, complementary etc) – if you arrive early can still purchase a ticket at turnstile 4 before heading off for some pre-match libation, on entry to the ground you can use your ticket at any turnstile.
Entry to the ground through the gates adjacent to the turnstiles will this season be limited to official guests and sponsors who will be issued with appropriate ID on match days which must be worn at all times
