Another busy week ahead, plenty of action on the pitch as well as a couple of markers for your diary for off the field events…………

 

Fixtures this week 

Tue 17
First team versus Maidstone Utd – AWAY- kick-off 19:45 – Vanarama National League South – Please note this game will be segregated, entry to the Gallagher Stadium will be via the new turnstiles at Gate C, opposite the Kent History & Library Centre. Any supporters who might have difficulty with the steps that lead down into the ground will be assisted via the main entrance. We have been the northeast corner of the Gallagher Stadium – this covers the area between the far end steps of the Conway main stand, past Gate C and up to and including the right-hand section of the Henry Reeves & Co Stand. A number of seats have also  been allocated to us, these can be found in rows C to H, seats 1 to 15, in the stand. There is a refreshment kiosk and toilets in the away section.

Youth (FCYA) versus Brentford – AWAY- kick-off 19:45 – Middlesex FA ‘Jeff Ritson’ Senior Youth Cup – match to be played at Hayes & Yeading Utd FC (on the main stadium pitch).

First team versus Bath City – HOME – kick-off 3:00pm Vanarama National League South. You can use your FREE match-day entry voucher from the recent My Ruislip Magazine promotion for this game.

Sun 22
Ladies First team versus Tower Hamlets – AWAY – Kick-off 13:30 – League
Ladies Reserves versus Alexandra Park – HOME – Kick-off 14:00- League – match to be played at Middlesex Stadium

The draw for the 3rd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy is made tomorrow (Monday) with the scheduled match to be played on Saturday 28 Nov kick-off 3:00pm. More to follow once our opponents are known.

Annual General meeting(s)

The WFC Supporters Club AGM will be held in the Aquarium bar at the Ruislip Social Club on Tuesday 24 Nov starting at 19:30.

The Main football Club AGM follows immediately after where it will:-

  • Receive and consider the Report of the Directors and the accounts of the Company for the period ended 31 May 2015.
  • To transact any other business that may be transacted at a General Meeting.

All Supporters are invited to attend both sessions.  

RSC

ELO Again are performing in the Main Hall this coming Friday (20 Nov) – more details can be found HERE

On Monday the Euro 2016 play-off between Republic of Ireland and Bosnia at 19.45 will be on Big screen and the friendly between England and France (tomorrow) at 8pm will also be on.

Championship & Premier league football will also be showing at the club starting Friday with Middlesbrough versus QPR kick-off 19:45, Saturday lunchtime when Watford take on Man Utd  kick-off 12:45 and the tea time game when Man City host Liverpool kick-off 17:30. On Sunday its Tottenham Hotspur versus West Ham at 16:00 and Monday night its Crystal Palace versus Sunderland kick-off 20:00

20151128_Skabretta_posterLooking ahead on Saturday  28 Nov the WFC Supporters club have arranged another Ska night when SKAbretta’ will be the headline act – proceedings get underway at 20:30(ish) and finish at midnight;  entry is just £10 (tickets from behind the bar at the RSC or on the door on the night).
