Striker Connor Calcutt joins the Stones
Stones have taken striker Connor Calcutt on a one month loan deal from League Two outfit Stevenage. The 20-year old striker began his senior career with South Midlands side Berkhampsted, where he quickly gained a reputation as an exciting prospect, scoring 41 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions during 2013/14. He joined Boro as a professional in the summer of 2014
He featured regularly during pre-season for Stevenage, scoring an impressive goal against West Ham, before going on to sign a contract prior to the start of the season joining at the same time at Tom Pett and Jerome Okimo. Calcutt scored his first ever Football League goal in the 1-1 draw at Plymouth just a few weeks later.
