Connor Calcutt suffers serious leg injury

chelmsford_city_vs_wealdstone_171114_002During Monday night’s Vanarama Conference South match at Chelmsford City, Wealdstone’s on-loan striker, Connor Calcutt, sustained a clean break of his fibula following an innocent challenge.Connor, currently on a month’s loan from League Two Stevenage, is expected to be out for 8-10 weeks as a result of this injury.

Stones Manager Gordon Bartlett said ‘Connor is naturally very down with this news but we will provide every support and encouragement to assist his recovery. Connor has quickly become a big part of a close knit squad at Wealdstone. His work ethic and spirit during his time with us has been exceptional and we will do all we can for him ‘
