Pre-season preparations progressing at pace

Wealdstone Manager Gordon Bartlett has been delighted with how pre-season preparations have been developing since training commenced two weeks ago.

GB said: ‘ Things are shaping up nicely and we have been pleased with the quality and attitude of players in the pre season sessions. The numbers of players have been in the thirties for most sessions and this will need to be reduced as we approach the friendlies but new possibilities seem to unfold on a daily basis.

‘ After the concerns of the early close season player departures, everybody has now re-signed up from last year’s squad and I still wouldn’t rule out another one or two arrivals before the first Ryman Premier league game on August 10th’

Stones first pre-season friendly is away at Hitchin Town on Saturday 20th July,  Chelsea match ticket information will be updated on this site shortly
