Wealdstone Ladies 14 – Bucks CC 1

The Bucks keeper was under pressure from the start of the game (13/11) but against the run of play the Stones gave away a penalty and Bucks went ahead 1-0.

Wealdstone soon pressured the Bucks keeper and a through ball from Nicola Dixon saw Catherine Fahy score her first goal. Fahy went onto score another two goals, one cheekily through the keepers legs. The Bucks keeper was kept busy all through the first half, testing her ability to the full. The lively Dixon hit the cross bar and the rebound was picked up by Fahy who scored her fourth goal. A minute before half time saw Dixon score her first goal of the match.

The second half saw the goal avalanche begin when Dixon scored in the first minute, and a further two goals came in close succession. A run by Fiona Williamson down the right, saw her score her first goal of the season. Claire Holden and Emily Bermingham played well in the middle with Lauren Simmons and Holly Robinson playing a solid game. Claire Holden scored a well deserved goal whilst Leah Gibson played well on the left and when Nadia Elkandil provided Dixon with a well placed pass the prolific striker netted her sixth goal.

There was no let up for Bucks as Rosie Watts scored after several attempts on goal and Catherine Fahy scored her fifth goal in the last minute to make the final score 14-1.

This was a great Stones performance as three key players unable to play with Katie Harling taking the goalie position and Stevie Wickes playing sweeper.

Wealdstone: Katie Harling Lauren Simmons Holly Robinson Emily Bermingham Stevie Wickes Fiona Williamson Nadia ELkandil Rosie Watts Claire Holden, Leah Gibson Nicola Dixon Catherine Fahy Nicola Fraiser.
