Next up, Leatherhead Away
Following on from last weeks excitement in the FA Trophy, this Saturday sees Wealdstone travel to Surrey to face Leatherhead as they return to the ‘bread and butter’ of the Ryman League.
It will be the third time that these two sides have met this season, with a rare Alan Massey goal handing Wealdstone a 1-0 victory in a
league tie at The Vale back in September, before The Tanners exacting revenge on their counterparts by eliminating them on penalties in the League Cup the following month.
The 2011-12 season has so far been a tough one for newly promoted Leatherhead, and they currently sit in 20th place in the Ryman League table, seven places behind Wealdstone. The home side will however be coming into this tie full of confidence though following an impressive 3-0
victory away at Kingstonian last Sunday, in what was only their third league win of the season.
Tickets for Saturday’s encounter are priced at £10 for adults and £5 concessions.
