Brooks signs up as Rob Fitzgerald transfers to Uxbridge

Stones continue to reshape their squad in preparation for the new Ryman Premier season that kicks off in three weeks time.

The latest player to sign up for the Stones is 18 year old midfielder Kurtney Brooks following some impressive displays in friendlies.

Brooks progressed through Watford’s youth academy system, before being released earlier this summer.

At Championship side Watford he made his first team debut on 11 August 2009 against Barnet in the League Cup. Kurtney has also played for Wales at under-19 level; he made his international début in September 2009 in a 1-1 draw with Malta. The following month, he was named in the squad for the 2010 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship qualification matches against Portugal, Spain and Macedonia, featuring  all three games.

Leaving the club is defender Rob Fitzgerald who has been signed by Uxbridge FC. Rob made a total of 24 appearances for the the Stones,
including 14 in the Ryman League.
