West One Extended Sponsorship Agreements

Wealdstone FC is delighted to announce that their main shirt sponsorship agreement with West One Electrical Contractors has been renewed for a second year.

The initial agreement was struck with the local Ruislip business last summer and their proprietor Ron Barnes has become a familiar figure both at matches and supporting social club events.

West One covers all aspects of electrical installations for the domestic home and commercial industry. Visit www.westoneservices.co.uk for more information.

Stones Chairman Howard Krais said: ‘We are delighted with this extension of our agreement with West One. This is a great vote of confidence in what we are trying to achieve at the club and I am especially pleased as Ron and his team have become firm friends and partners of the club over the past year. We look forward to another successful year ahead’

Wealdstone are also announcing that the scholarship arrangement with Stanmore College is continuing for the coming academic year; the partnership has been operational for six years.

Wealdstone FC and Stanmore College provide young footballers aged 16-19 with opportunities for sporting and academic excellence.

Each year in September, a new intake of students is able to combine preparation for a career in football with an academic programme appropriate to their needs and aspirations. It is expected that most students will want to combine a football preparation course with a Sports Studies course at an appropriate level. Students will have full access to the Sixth Form College’s facilities sited in Elm Park.

More general information about Stanmore Sixth Form College is available in a prospectus, which may be requested direct from the College on 0208 420 7700.

Howard Krais is also seeking new sponsorship and partnership opportunities, particularly with local businesses. ‘We are very keen to open up new links with businesses at such an exciting time for Wealdstone with so much positivity around the club following our move to The Vale. This can be shaped to suit business needs and although times are tough we believe we can offer great opportunities for local companies to promote their products and services, and be part of a winning and progressive team.’
