Stones travel to table toppers Dartford on Saturday

Stones will be up for the considerable challenge of facing top of the table Dartford when they visit their well appointed Princes Park Stadium this Saturday.

The Darts have had a storming start to the season with a 100% record of four straight wins, including a 5-0 hammering of newly promoted Kingstonian during the week.

Darts manager Tony Burman has promised changes for Saturday’s match against Wealdstone -despite the big win over Kingstonian . Shell-shocked Kingstonian had former Stones midfielder Tommy Williams – and manager Alan Dowson – sent off for dissent on a night that they will want to forget.

Wealdstone will be buoyed up by their mid week win over Boreham Wood but will probably still be without Chris O’Leary through injury but may be able to introduce big striker Ross Lafayette into to the side after his recovery from an injury sustained during the pre season. Ross performed well during a reserves outing at The Vale on Wednesday night.

A bumper crowd is expected at Princes Park on Saturday and with a large following expected from the Stones the attendance may be easily over the 1000 mark
