Wealdstone FC & Pinner United FC Affiliation
Wealdstone FC is, for the first time in 17 years, in charge of its’ own destiny in that the club now has a home base to work from. The former non-league double winners’ new base is a 12 acre site at Grosvenor Vale, Ruislip. Wealdstone FC has stated their aim to build and promote relations with junior football clubs in the area and is therefore delighted to announce an affiliation with Pinner United FC.
Pinner United FC is a successful youth football club and holder of ‘Charter Standard’ status, the Football Association quality mark for youth football clubs. The club was formed in 1994 by former head coach, and now chairman, Dave Howes, and play in the very competitive Harrow Youth League. Pinner United runs sides for players from 6 years of age upwards and plays its home matches in the Pinner/Ruislip Manor area.
As part of the agreement between the two clubs Wealdstone FC will provide additional coaching to Pinner United.
The agreement also entitles each member of Pinner United to free entrance to Wealdstone’s Ryman’s Premier League matches and discounted admittance to their parents and coaches.
Pinner United players are also invited to take part in matchday activities at Wealdstone’s home games such as penalty shoot-outs.
There will be reciprocal arrangements in that both clubs’ websites will link to each other and Pinner United news will also be carried in the Wealdstone matchday programme.
It is hoped that this will be the start of a long and fruitful relationship between the two clubs
