D-Day for Monty

Wealdstone FC winger Graeme Montgomery, currently undergoing extended trials with Coca-Cola League One outfit Yeovil Town, may well have a decision as to his future with the club by the weekend. The highly talented 20 year old and former England Schoolboy is due to play for the Glovers reserves at Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday afternoon and a decision is expected soon after as to whether he will link up permanently at Huish Park.

Montgomery was previously under the scrutiny of Watford FC following an impressive performance playing for the Stones in a pre-season friendly at the Vale. Wealdstone Manager Gordon Bartlett said: ‘ Things seem to have gone well for Monty during his trials in Somerset and he deserves this opportunity to play pro football’
